Final Fantasy Type

Final Fantasy Type-0 is a video game published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable and developed by the company's 1st Production Department. The game was originally announced with the name Final Fantasy Agito XIII. "Agito" roughly means "to put in motion" in Latin.

Final Fantasy Type-0 takes place in Oriense, which is divided into four nations known as the Suzaku Fiefdom of Rubrum, the Milites Empire, the Lorican Alliance, and the Kingdom of Concordia.

The four nations coexisted peacefully under the Pax Codex until Cid Aulstyne, High Commander of the Milites Empire, broke the peace treaty and staged an invasion using advanced military technology developed with the power of the Byakko Crystal. With his armada of airships and magitek armor, Cid easily conquered Lorica and Concordia, then moved on to Rubrum where he faced a strong resistance due the nation's magical defenses, of which the key part is Rubrum's Magic Academy, Peristylium Suzaku.

Peristylium's Class Zero, a small group of extremely skilled students, refused to surrender and proceed to fight back under a secret operation to recover Suzaku's sieged crystal.

Final Fantasy Type-0's battle system is in real-time and action-based, similar to that of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and The 3rd Birthday, but makes use of the active-time battle system and allows control of multiple characters.
